These are the days...

Dammit! Allow me to swear, because I really feel pissed off. Nothing in particular, and everything in particular.
How can a 1 1/2 year old computer die faster than a 3 year old computer? How can a computer die without me (pseudo-technie) even knowing how it died? My best stab at a guess is that either the motherboard or the CPU shorted out, but I have no way of verifying, short of getting new motherboard/CPU to test, which I am not going to bother with for a cheap piece of Canada Computer shit (and I'm still thinking of going there to get my next cheap shit!). Damn.
Then last night, I spent a frantic 3 hours trying to run virus-scans and trojan removers because I was dumb enough to click a link from one of my friends (thanks a bunch!), and on the linked website, there's this video requiring me to download a codec. I don't know what the freak got into me, but I clicked and loaded the codec, thinking it was just a damn codec. Only after installing it, did I realize I must be one of the dumbest people on the planet to fall for that trick. 3 frantic hours later, I still have no virus to show for my efforts...I hope I have done everything in my power to clean off the trojan/virus, but there's this nagging feeling that I haven't. Damn damn damn damn.
