Xmas nearing

Interestingly, I got a comment from Charlie today saying that my blog is just about me whining...which, come to think of it, is true. I haven't had anything interesting happen to me in a while worth mentioning that does not involve me complaining. I'm such a whiner.
Anyways, today a bunch of us Waterloo-ers went out for lunch to celebrate Ken's birthday. Went to someplace called La Chine, very hard to find. I didn't expect a restaurant at a commercial mall. Food was OK, not great, but decor was clean. At least we didn't get over charged like the last time I went to Celestial Court with my sis and SB (there I go again).
Oh, what was the purpose of this post? Yes...Xmas. I went to STC over the weekend to do a little shopping and actually didn't experience any Christmas atmosphere. Perhaps I am getting old, or perhaps it isn't time yet? I don't know, but I just didn't get the urge to spend spend spend. Funny how none of the things I looked at were even remotely enticing. Notice to AEO/Gap/Mexx/RW...you're completely losing me here. I don't feel connected to anything you sell. The t-shirts look like the ones from last year which look like ones from the year before...you get the idea.
Oh, for anyone interested, there's now a Moxie's at STC.
