Wonder what mom and sis are doing in Beijing?

Today, dad cooked a lot of food for dinner...it's true, when mom isn't around, dad cooks a lot! A lot! 5 dishes and 1 soup...haha.
Yesterday, we tried to cook spicy beef noodle soup, unfortunately, it was a failure. However, I think we can always learn from failures, so I'm not too disappointed. I think next time that I cook this soup, it will taste much better.

It's a cold cold day

Cold and rainy day, not much mood to do anything. While my sis and mom are vacationing in Beijing, me and my dad are stuck here in Canada. And my dad will be going away soon too...boohoo...poor me!

So what are everyone's plans for the coming holiday season? My plans are...to stay in Toronto and freaking work. Damn, had my holidays rejected...freaking stupid. Stupid. Stupid. I hate my job. My boss is an idiot too...he's always micromanaging, a complete idiot...sigh.

Got a blackberry!

So today, my boss unexpectedly told me that they've arranged for me to carry a blackberry. Don't know whether I should be happy or sad, you know? On the one hand, it's a neat toy that I always wanted to get my hands on. Afterall, I played an integral part in the development of the 7200's. They were known as the Quarks back when I was still working at RIM. Brings back a lot of memories...Yihong, Geiyi, Adam, Krystina, Jax, Thomas, Winnie...lots of fun people that I worked with back in the Antenna Engineering Department! (Here's a shout-out to anyone working at RIM who's reading this blog)

On the other hand, this probably means that I will be working even more, reading emails on the train, and providing support after hours. That really sucks. I'm already working 7:30 to 5:00 most days, and I can't honestly work anymore without getting burned out. It's not really the amount of work, more like it's all so mundane and boring. Wish I could change jobs...

Anyways, I'll probably be ending my contract to Rogers and just use my blackberry. Hehe. The company pays for my phone usage. Cool!

What? I have to work when?????

Just learned today that I have to work on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks boss...giving me the freaking 'choice' by saying it's 'entirely' up to me when you've already signed up my name is a real sign of choice.

Goddamnit, I hate my job!
