Chronicles of Narnia

Set in WW2 Britain, the premise of this movie is a family of kids sent to live with a relative (?) in the countryside in order to evade the war. While they waste their youth playing hide and seek and cricket, they discover a magical magical world within a wardrobe in an upstairs bedroom. The magical land is Narnia, and Narnia needs our young hero(ine)s' help.
Some things I didn't like about the movie. 1) Extremely bad casting. All 4 of the child actors are homely, and I'm being generous with Susan. 2) Too many biblical references. I don't like to hear lines "Son of Adam" or "Daughter of Eve" in every other frame. 3) Why does the forces of good always win? Note to other potential villains out there, if you're going to leave your castle with a whole bunch of frozen enemies in it, you'd better take a hammer and turn all those statues to pieces so they don't unfreeze and ruin your master schemes.
You can probably tell I don't like the movie that much. I give it 1.5/5 for the CG.
